Digital Camera Adventures did not reach the 100.000 page views by December of last year. What did I learn from this...that in a global site the quality of content and audience awareness are key for a sustained presence of readers. That variety is a most, and the only way it can be attained is, by reaching people in their own language and inviting guest authors to participate in the blog. Mr Kazuhiro Takahashi was our first contributor. He enabled us to see the lights of his home town, Tokio seeking color in one of the world's most populated cities. He showed us an every day/night living images of his city. How did we worked together, by chating when he was going to sleep and I was starting the day getting ready for work, a 12 hour difference forced us to use emails and Facebook idea exchanges to get his work on the blog. So Domo Arigato Kazz you will always be a welcomed guest.

At home, I've got bye with a little help from my friends. Dr. Charles Brewer Carias (A dentist turned into an explorer with capial "E") contributed with a great article about the Lost World " The Children of the Stars". In a few months it had over 3.500 page views and it still growing. Alberto Blanco editor of Venezuela's natural history magazine Rio Verde and Dr. Alexander Blanco a wildlife veterinarian and harpy eagle expert wrote about these wonderful raptors of the tropical jungles of Venezuela and Juan Carlos Guerrero, a nature film producer, gave us a behind the scenes account of the documentary The Harpy's Cradle. Its people like this that have made the difference. So to all of them my most sincere gratitude.

I like to give express my gratitude to Jardines Ecológicos Topotepuy, who have sponsored, and allowed me, to roam freely in this little piece of cloud forest and well nurtured botanical garden, where I had the chance to develope an intimate knowledge on hummingbirds, the secret life of plants and the importance of perseverance, to make dreams come true, and share them with the world. My tutors have not rested in showing me with examples, on how to work in pursue of achievement, and to focus on my growth and this is an invaluable asset for anyone to enjoy.

To finish, I am greatful to Google and Blogger to enable all of their users to reach the unreachable. And giving Digital Camera Advenures a vote of confidence by relating our humble name to the Rolex Awards. This is the best way to start 2014.

Gracias a todos y mantenganse en contacto.
So see you all on the screen and keep in touch.
